There is definitely enough grip in this yoga towel! The towel is designed for dynamic exercises such as Vinyasa Flow or Power Yoga.
The towel is placed directly on top of the yoga mat with the yellow side down. The towel stays in place well with the non-slip backing. The microfiber surface of the towel absorbs moisture from the hands and feet during exercise, so they do not start to slip. Also works great in hot yoga.
Care instructions: Machine wash in cool water separately. Dry flat.
Tip, spray the towel lightly with water before exercising. This improves the grip of the towel.
