Payment methods for companies

Klarna and Paypal payment options are available for companies and other organisations.

PayPal is a popular global payment service that allows you to pay easily and securely around the world, both from your PayPal account and from a credit card linked to your PayPal account. PayPal is a leading online payment service with payments in 190 countries around the world. More than 190 million people already use a PayPal account to pay online.

Payment can be made from your PayPal account balance or using the most common credit cards. Payment by credit card does not require the customer to register as a PayPal customer and will not incur any additional charges unless the purchase includes a currency conversion.

Online bank payment

You can pay the order and delivery costs in your online bank when ordering. The banks available are from Finnish/Scandinavian/Baltic. Verifone Finland Oy is a responsible payment provider for online bank payments. Be prepared to authenticate with bank IDs. Paying in online banking or using a card payment is free of charge - there is no surcharge for payment methods.



There are three different payment options from Klarna. Those options are:

  • Pay Now (immediate payment)
  • Buy Now, Pay Later (max. 30 days free payment time)
  • Financing (instalment plans of 6, 12, 24 and 36 months with flexible payments)
  • limitations to the options may occur based on the buyer’s country

When you choose a Klarna invoice as your payment method, your transactions are safe and easy. Depending on your choice you may complete the payment immediately or have even 36 months of flexible payment time. If you choose invoice or financing options, extra costs from the credit supplier Klarna may take place. The costs and flexibility options are partly dependent on the sum of the purchase. The costs are shown at the check-out before placing an order. When choosing the Klarna payment option, the customer has the possibility to check current terms and conditions by Klarna. Klarna is responsible for the payments, does not invoice, do credit checks nor collect a debt. After the purchase, the customer can see the current invoice balance by logging in to the Klarna app at

Creditworthiness assessment

At the time of purchase, Klarna checks the creditworthiness of the subscriber, which can also mean checking the credit information from the credit information service. The soft creditworthiness check that Klarna may run does not affect a customer’s credit score and is only visible on your credit file by you and Klarna. Klarna or does not do a credit search that could impact your credit rating. This includes the whole process at the point of application, if a payment is missed, or if the outstanding balance enters a debt collection stage.

Processing of personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Act. Klarna uses personal information for customer analysis, personal identification, credit rating and marketing purposes. The personal identity number is used as the consumer's customer number for customer administrative reasons.
