Our feet have more than 20 small muscles and part of them are attached to toes - these muscles sustain the arch in the feet. By wearing normal, thick bottomed and supported shoes these important muscles passivate ja weakens. By wearing thin bottomed barefoot shoes these small muscles activate and strenghtens. Stronger muscles reduces the risk of injury especially on the anke area. Also the blood circulation in the feet improves through more vivid muscle activity and decreases several circulation problems in the feet - for example cold feet.
